Katie, a St. Louis native, was a defender for the Central Michigan Chippewas from 2016-2019. As a member of the inaugural team, Katie was named 2x captain, 2x SoCon All-Academic honoree, winner of the Bill Boyden Leadership Award '18 and finished her career as the Southern Conference Regular Season Champion in 2019.
As a coach, Katie has a decade of experience coaching players aged 6 through 18+ in team, small group and individual settings. Her coaching style is detail-oriented, a good mix of serious and fun, and always encouraging. Katie emphasizes correct fundamental technique and breaks down complex skills for players so they can begin to self-correct both in sessions and on the field. One of Katie's main goals in individualized coaching is for players to develop a deeper sense of their strengths and tendencies so they can take ownership of their playing style in a team setting.
Whether you've never picked up a stick before, or you have dreams of playing at the highest level, Katie will meet you where you're at and work with you to achieve your personal goals.
Offering individual, small group (2-5 players) and large group (5-15 players) lessons.
